For our client – an international production company residing in Prague – we are currently looking for a suitable candidate for the position of FINANCE MANAGER

 

 

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

Responsible for managing and controlling all financial processes and activities of the company, including accounting, tax, budget, reporting, banks and asset management.

 

Role:

 

  • Manage and lead the local Finance team
  • Implement new information system in Finance – change from existing system to new one as of 2018
  • Ensure proper & timely submission of tax statements and VAT declarations. Manage tax planning.
  • Work closely with other departments to review commercial part of contracts, approve project cash flow, payment terms, credit limits. Actively manage working capital e.g. collect receivables and minimize inventory. Ensure proper credit control & reporting.
  • Lead the budgeting & forecasting processes and their regular review
  • Coordination of monthly/annual closing
  • Provide management with regular updated business information & financial expertise as necessary.
  • Produce monthly reports required by Headquarters and top management
  • Prepare, implement and update of internal procedures.
  • Manage relations with internal and external auditors & all other regulatory bodies.
  • Ensure smooth cooperation with banks, agenda of bank guarantees, letters of credits, 
  • Support/control of Project Financing with Banks and EGAP
  • Attend management meetings and run departmental meetings.
  • Monitor and control all expenses and ensure that the issued delegation of authority is strictly followed.
  • Administer all company insurance schemes.
  • Ensure correct and timely supply of legal documentation for bids etc.
  • Ad hoc requests from Senior Management.

 

Požadavky:

 

  • Minimum 5 years in a senior Financial Management position.
  • Degree in Economy/Finance
  • Fluent in English, Czech native, Russian is an advantage
  • Good understanding of financial and business systems.
  • Good knowledge of International Accounting Standards (IFRS).
  • Experience with SAP system is a plus
