For our client, an international law firm in Prague, we are currently seeking the suitable candidate for the position of Billing Assistant/Credit Controller.





Key Responsibilities

  • Raise draft invoices and preformats, obtain approval for drafts and send final invoices to clients
  • Liaison with managers (locally and internationally) via telephone, email or in person to ensure billing targets are met and issues resolved
  • Recording time and cost entry amendments, updating narratives, ensuring bills are accurate and professionally presented
  • E-billing and daily contact with our clients
  • Appliance of Firm's financial policies, ensuring that bills are recorded in accordance with accounting standards and legal rules
  • Contacting client AP departments, updating database records, ensuring prompt client payment
  • Management of all special client's issues
  • Payments recording and dealing with





  • IT literate with proven experience MS Office (word, excel), MS Outlook
  • Fluent in English, written and spoken – most of the work and communications will be in English
  • Numerate, organized with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Ability to work under pressure as part of a small, close team
  • Accounts department or financial administration experience
  • German language skills – advantage
